1. Screen Mirroring Prime Video from Mac to Apple TV:
   • Go to primevideo.com on a browser on your Mac.
   • Click on the Control Center and select the Screen Mirroring option.
   • Choose your Apple TV.
   • Once screen mirroring is enabled, your video on Amazon Prime Video goes blank. You will be able to hear the audio but you cannot see the Video.
2. Install the Prime Video app on your Mac:
   • The Mac’s App Store has Prime Video.
   • We installed Prime Video to check whether the Mac version has an AirPlay button. It doesn’t have an AirPlay button.
   • We tried to screen mirror the app from Mac but once the mirroring is enabled, the video goes blank.

Hence, there is no possible way to AirPlay Amazon Prime Video on Mac. You have to AirPlay it from your iPhone or iPad only.

Install Amazon Prime Video on Apple TV

If you are a regular user of Amazon Prime Video, then it is better to install the app directly on your Apple TV.

1. On your Apple TV, open the Amazon App Store.

2. Search for the Amazon Prime Video app.

3. Install it on your Apple TV.

4. Launch the app and you will see a code on your TV.

5. Go to primevideo.com/mytv. Log in with your Amazon credentials.

6. Enter the code you see on the TV.

Your Amazon Prime Video will log in on your Apple TV. You can stream your favorite content directly on your TV

How to Cast Amazon Prime Video from iPhone/iPad to Other TVs?

The Amazon Prime Video on your iPhone and iPad also supports casting content to Chromecast-enabled devices. If you are using smart TVs like Android TV, Google TV, etc., you can directly cast content from the app to your TV.

1. Connect your iPhone/iPad and your TV to the same WiFi network.

2. Open the Prime Video app and play any video.

3. You will see a cast icon. Click on the cast icon.

4. Choose your TV from the list.

If AirPlay is not working on your Prime Video app, then try these troubleshooting methods:

1. Check whether both the devices are connected to the same WiFi network.
2. Clear the Prime Video cache on your iPhone/iPad.
3. Check for any app updates and update it to the latest version.
4. Connect both devices to another WiFi network and try again.
5. Uninstall and reinstall the Prime Video.
6. Update your iPhone, iPad, and your TV to the latest version.
7. Try to AirPlay any other compatible apps to your TV.
8. If nothing works, try to AirPlay from another iPhone or iPad and if that works, reset your device to factory settings and try again.
