How to AirPlay Google Photos?

AirPlay Google Photos using iPhone/iPad
1. Ensure you connect your iPhone/iPad and Apple TV to the same WiFi network.
2. Install the Google Photos app on your device. It is available on the App Store.
3. Launch the app and log in with your Gmail account. The app will display all the synced photos.
4. On your iPhone/iPad, go to the control center. To go to Control Center, click on the control center button on your iPhone, and on your iPad, swipe down from the right.
5. Click on the Screen Mirror option.
6. Choose your Apple TV from the list.
Your iPhone/iPad screen will appear on your TV. Go to the Google Photos screen, swipe the photos one by one, and view the images on the big screen.
AirPlay Google Photos using Mac
1. On your Mac, open any browser and go to photos.google.com.
2. Go to the Control Center on your Mac.
3. Click on the Screen Mirror option.
4. Choose your Apple TV from the list.
5. The Mac screen will appear on the TV.
6. Go to the browser again and view the photos one by one.
The photos will appear on your Apple TV.
How do you view Google Photos on AirPlay 2-compatible TV?
Apart from Apple TV, AirPlay is compatible with a few models, such as LG TV, Samsung TV, Sony TV, Roku TV, Fire TV, and more.
Fortunately, these models support casting content from compatible apps. The method below works on the TVs mentioned above.
1. Connect your TV and iPhone/iPad to the same WiFi network.
2. Open the Google Photos app on your iPhone/iPad.
3. Open any photo. The cast icon will appear in the top right corner.
4. Click on the Cast icon and choose the TV from the list.
The photo will appear on the TV. You can swipe the photos one by one to view them. As mentioned earlier, you can only use the cast option on cast-compatible TVs that support AirPlay.
